I am not painting an apple a day, but I am painting something everyday.

This is the most realistic apple and leaves I have accomplished so far. It is for an October Painting Challenge for the Annamasonart school. I could do a bit more detail on the stem and clean up the white background where I got paint on the paper. I’m a lefty. It’s a problem; but otherwise I am really pleased with the end result. It feels wonderful to be getting closer to my goal of painting realistic watercolors. I look back at my previous work and can see such a huge improvement.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Grab an apple. 🙂
